Digest 161 August 2, 2022. Russian War Crimes in Ukraine Facts and Evidences

403 civilians have been killed and more than 1K injured by shelling in Mykolaiv oblast since the beginning of the large-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

On August 1, russian aggressors shelled civilian vehicles trying to evacuate people from occupied territories of Kherson oblast. Two civilians were killed, one died of wounds, and five more severely injured .

Russian aggressors continue heavy shelling, airstrikes and attempts of the offensive in Donetsk oblast. On August 1, three civilians were killed, and three more injured. More than 30 houses were damaged, two fields with unharvested crops burned. Hostilities are ongoing.

Two bodies of civilians were exhumed in the village of Vilkhivka, Kharkiv oblast. The people were killed by russian troops in February or March. Now, after the de-occupation of the village, Ukrainian law enforcement officers investigate into this russian war crime.
