Digest 79. May 12, 2022. Russian War Crimes in Ukraine. Facts and Evidences

New evidence of russian war crimes were discovered in Kyiv oblast. On March 16, russian soldiers killed 2 unarmed men and robbed a car shop. Ukrainian prosecutors have initiated a war crime investigation when russian soldiers were caught on video shooting 2 Ukrainian civilians in the back.

Ukrainian law enforcement officers are investigating the russian war crimes committed in Kharkiv oblast. On March 27, 2 civilians were killed as the russian tank fired on the private house in Stepanky village. This fact was discovered after the liberation of Stepanky.

On May 11, 1 civilian was killed, a grain warehouse was damaged by the russian air strikes on Lozova community in Kharkiv oblast.

On May 12, 1 civilian was killed, 1 injured by russian MLRS strike on Zelenodilsk community, Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Russian invaders continue heavy shelling, launch air strikes and attempt the offensive in Donetsk oblast. On May 11, 22 buildings were damaged. Moreover, there were killed and injured amongst civilians.

On May 12, 1 civilian was killed as hostile russian troops shelled Stari Vyrky village, Sumy oblast. The village is located close to the Ukraine-Russian border.
