NGO “Ukrainian Women’s Guard” along with the charity fund “Helpica” apply to every person with a request to give possible assistance in order to equip a group of combat medics who are soon to deploy in the East of Ukraine.
The group consists of 360 people. For now, the newly formed medical group’s needs are as follows:
- 360 tactical first aid kits;
- 80 tactical backpacks;
- 360 kits of thermal underwear.
First aid kit’s content:
- Haemostatic bandage (3m-long)
- Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT)
- Bandage (from Israel)
- Occlusive dressing
- Needle for treating pneumothorax (can be substituted by a catheter of size #14)
- Unit-dose syringe of analgesic
- Surgical scissors
- Burn dressing
- Thermal blanket
- Heating pad
- Roller bandage(7×14)
- Hydrogen peroxide in a plastic container
- Latex gloves
- First aid instruction booklet
We hope that, applying to you, all together we will find certain resources to provide combat medics for conditions to give first aid to our soldiers in the frontline. Professionally and timely given first aid saves dozens of lives. We will be very grateful for your participation in this affair.
